Engine Diagnostics

Advanced diagnostics that get to the root of warning lights and performance issues — no guessing, no shortcuts.

Why It Matters

  • Dealer-level scan tools and factory software
  • Root-cause answers instead of parts-swapping
  • Saves time, guesswork, and unnecessary repairs
  • Clear explanation of what we found and why

Common Symptoms

  • Check engine or other dash warning lights
  • Hesitation, misfires, or hard starts
  • Intermittent problems no one can reproduce
  • Codes cleared before that keep coming back

Engine Diagnostics — Questions

That's exactly what our diagnostic process is built for — advanced tools plus experienced technicians who trace faults to the root cause.

A code identifies which system reported a fault; a diagnosis is the testing that narrows that down to the one part actually responsible. A P0301, for example, means cylinder 1 misfired — which could be a coil, plug, injector, vacuum leak, or compression problem — and replacing parts based on the code alone is a guess, not a repair.

It can tell you a code is stored, which is a useful starting point. It generally cannot read manufacturer-specific modules, view live data streams, run bidirectional tests, or access the systems where most European faults actually live. That's the gap dealer-level tools close.
